Tastings and Consultations:

Tastings are available for events of 75 guests or more. They are a fee of $35 and when the order is placed that amount will be applied to the deposit.

 

Tastings can be scheduled from Sunday to Wednesday. Saturdays may be available if time permits. Thursday and Friday are not available. At least 2 weeks notice is needed and will be scheduled based on availability. Tastings are only available for cake flavors any other treats must be purchased per their minimum.

 

The 1 hour scheduled time will include:

Up to 4 people may come. Each additional person will be $20. 

3 sample cake flavors - vanilla with vanilla buttercream, chocolate with chocolate buttercream

                     1 flavor combos of your choice: cake, frosting, filling

Discussion on design and structure best for your needs.

 

Consultations not including a tasting are $20 for a 1 hour meeting for potential orders of 50 servings or more. The fee WILL NOT be applied to deposit if order is placed.  

 

Deposits:

Your initial deposit reserves your event date and is non-refundable. Your order is not confirmed until a deposit has been paid. All communication (email, phone call, texts) prior to any payments does not guarantee date requested.

 

Any orders of $100 or less will have full payment due no later than 2 weeks (14 days) before due date. Orders over $100 will have a deposit of 50% due no later than 2 weeks prior to due date to hold the date and final payment will be due at pick up or 1 week (7 days) for delivery orders. 

At least one month advance notice is required for any order for 100 servings or more. Deposit will be due a the time the order is placed to ensure entire day is held to be able to complete the order. Final payment must be made in full no later than 30 days prior to pick up delivery.  

 

Orders placed and approved within 7 days of pick up will need to be payed in full immediately to be guaranteed. There will be a rush fee charge of $25 for orders due less than 1 week (7 days) from order date if accepted. 

A link to make a Square payment will be sent through email for deposit amount.

 

Payment:

Payments can be made using cash, credit card or Square Invoice. Payments will no longer be accepted through standard mail. If you wish to pay the deposit by cash or check it must be delivered directly to the address provided on the contract no later than the date listed. Checks will not be accepted within 7 days or on the pick up date.  

 

We must receive final payment by due date indicated or contract is null and void, and deposit will not be refunded. If payment is made after due date there will be a late fee of $25 added to final payment. 

 

Payment is required in full 7 days prior to any delivery order.

We have the right to reject payment if not made by due date and deposit will be forfeited.

Due to changing costs in materials final total price can not be guaranteed until no more than 6 months before the event date. 

 

Changes to Your Order:

Changes CAN NOT be made within 7 days of your scheduled pick up or delivery time. Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charge. 

 

Pick ups and Deliveries: 

Pick ups can be scheduled 7 days a week from 10:00am to 8:00pm. 

 

A 30 minute window for pick up time will be scheduled at time of order. Anyone arriving 30 minutes or more late without prior notice will incur a late fee of $15 per hour.

 

Deliveries are only available for orders over $150. 

DELIVERY FEE: $20 within 10 miles of bakery location. $1.25 per additional mile each way.

Friday deliveries must be scheduled for 7pm or earlier. Saturday and Sunday deliveries must be scheduled for 1pm or later. 

 

Delivery to The Woodlands Waterway area or any other location without a designated pick up/delivery area after 5pm that requires use of paid parking or valet will require an additional minimum fee $5 or more. I will do my best to find out the exact fees prior to scheduling delivery.

Events with 100 guests or more will be free delivery up to 10 miles with confirmation of delivery made with payment in full no less than 30 days prior to delivery date. 

 

Payment is required in full 7 days prior to any delivery order.

 

Saturday mornings are my busiest pick up time and I do usually have multiple orders each week. If I do not have any other scheduled pick ups before noon a delivery may be scheduled. Delivery requests for Saturday mornings before 1pm will not be able to be confirmed until the week of at which point the remaining balance will be due to confirm the delivery. 

 

Liability:

If you or a representative picks up and sets up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility of the condition of the cake once it leaves Kandikakes Bakery’s possession. 

 

We are not responsible for damage after cake is delivered and set up by us (if needed). You are responsible for providing and appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake(s). Cakes 

are heavy and require a sturdy table, and optimal room temperature of 75 degrees or below.

 

Returns:

If the oder is not satisfactory please return 80% uneaten and undamaged to Kandikakes Bakery within 24 hours to be tested and reviewed for possible partial or full refund or discount on future order depending on the issue. 

 

Kandikakes Bakery reserves the right to refuse service or cancel any order at our discretion and may result in a full or partial loss of deposit.
